David Silva is the Communications Director of UrbanPromise Latin America (UPLAM), an initiative born with the purpose of empowering children and youth so they can reach their full potential.
Since its inception, the organization has grown with the goal of continuing to create vibrant communities where young people thrive. Now, with UPLAM, that mission extends to all of Latin America.
David and his team dream of a better future and of healing what is perceived as broken. That's why they use faith as strength and empathy as a guide. Their approach is a cycle of empowerment that involves children, youth, leaders, institutions, and families. This model ensures that the communities themselves generate a positive and lasting impact on their members.
UPLAM seeks to generate a community movement rooted in the way of Jesus. To achieve this, it invests in visionary Christian leaders from Latin America dedicated to serving the most vulnerable children and youth.
