Neddy is a Venezuelan ecotheologian and pastor of the Presbyterian Church in the United States who has dedicated her life to mobilizing and educating faith communities around environmental action. She also works with Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and is involved in several projects, including the Faith Network for Climate Justice.
Through this initiative, she coordinates an online education program on climate justice and faith. This certification program offers a curriculum for Spanish speakers in Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America. Its purpose is to equip participants with essential tools so they can explore their moral, spiritual, and practical power in leading this cause, both within faith communities and in collaboration with other organizations.
The focus includes topics such as theology, ethics, and spirituality. Each relates to insights about climate change and the implementation of social change practices that connect ecological well-being with racial, economic, and gender justice.
