The Cult, a transmedia project, by Almendra Fantilli

Fantilli Almond

Almendra Fantilli is a graduate of the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and a social communicator who describes herself as a photographer in continuous training. Her interests lie in social and political projects , and she has worked in media, publishing, and community and religious initiatives. Almendra is the screenwriter, producer, and director of the documentary El Culto (The Cult) , a mosaic of four evangelical communities and the way they experience religious celebrations, their similarities, their differences, and their search for transcendence.

But Almendra wants to go further. What she now seeks is to continue telling the stories of these and other evangelical churches through transmedia storytelling. Her intention is to showcase, through visual, audio, and literary means, other ways of living the faith, those that involve oral tradition, the magic of rituals, and community building.

This transmedia project aims to encourage people to question their spiritual identity, what it means to walk the path of life, with its sorrows, joys, and hopes, as Christians.
