Ilich Avilés Ramírez is a psychologist, human rights activist, and member of the Uniendo Esperanzas Collective, a network of relatives and caring individuals dedicated to supporting families searching for their missing loved ones. From a perspective of faith and spirituality, this organization offers psychosocial and pastoral support to those facing this difficult reality.
Ilich has 15 years of experience and has carried out social projects in Nicaragua, Honduras, and Mexico. Her work has focused on areas such as children's rights, gender violence, and HIV. She has also mentored human rights defenders and sex workers. She has also been part of networks such as the Movement for Children and Youth and the Latin American Theological Fraternity. She has also contributed to publications such as " Let the Children Come to Me" and " In Our Hands and Their Hands . "
In recent years, her activism has focused on guiding seeking families through a psychological, social, and spiritual approach.
