Carla Angelini is part of Catholics for the Right to Decide in Brazil, an initiative founded in 1994 with the mission of transforming cultural and religious patterns to reclaim sexual and reproductive rights, especially those of women.
It seeks to guarantee the autonomy and freedom of women, as well as the construction of equal relationships among all people. It also focuses on deconstructing ideologies that perpetuate inequality, promoting a mindset of social justice and diversity, defending the secular nature of the state against religious influences, and fostering interreligious dialogue and respect for the free expression of beliefs.
