Listening to the voices and telling the stories of those who cultivate and promote a conscious connection with the environment and the community is the purpose of "Letters of Prophecy: Catholic Women Caring for the Amazon," a project led by León Souza, a graduate in Social Sciences and Director of Social Engagement at Casa Galileia, Brazil.
This initiative focuses on highlighting the work of Catholic and Evangelical women dedicated to protecting and conserving Amazonian ecosystems, as well as promoting practices that contribute to the well-being of the people who inhabit the territory. Through various audio and visual formats, León aims to highlight and recognize spiritualities that, when linked to political and social commitment, generate significant transformations in the environment.
This biographical journey hopes to highlight the experiences, efforts, and achievements of female leaders who, with their knowledge, determination, and empathy, have inspired and motivated a broader audience to become agents of change.
